Attendance & Makeup Policy
We understand that occasional absences may occur and will do our best to provide reasonable flexibility while maintaining a consistent learning experience for all students.
-
Missed Classes
Tuition reserves the student’s place in the scheduled class. Classes missed due to illness, travel, scheduling conflicts, or other personal reasons are non-refundable and will not be prorated.
-
Makeup Classes
Students may receive up to two makeup classes per semester. Makeup classes are subject to class availability, student level, and curriculum alignment. Students may join another appropriate group class or attend a designated makeup session. Individual or private replacement lessons are not included in group-class tuition.
-
Advance Notice
Whenever possible, families should provide at least 24 hours’ notice before an absence. Absences reported with less than 24 hours’ notice may not be eligible for a makeup class. Sudden illness and emergencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
-
Makeup Period
Makeup classes must be completed within 30 days of the missed class and while the student remains actively enrolled. If ODYTHENA is unable to offer an appropriate makeup option during that period, the deadline may be extended to the next available appropriate session. Unused makeup opportunities cannot be refunded, transferred, or carried over to a future semester.
-
Confirmed Makeup Classes
Once a makeup class has been confirmed, a no-show or cancellation made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be considered used and cannot be rescheduled again.
-
Classes Canceled by ODYTHENA
If ODYTHENA cancels a class, families will receive a rescheduled class, an appropriate makeup option, or a class credit. Classes canceled by ODYTHENA do not count toward the student’s two makeup classes.
